Telecommunications giant AT&T told employees Friday that CEO Randall Stephenson is giving up his 2008 bonus and the company will freeze salaries for its 120,000 managers, AT&T spokesman Walt Sharp confirmed Friday.

Nice to see that from a company that made $2 billion last quarter rather than losing $2 billion. I'm sure those 120,000 managers are just thrilled, though it's better to have a frozen salary than no salary. I'd love to see how their salaries stack up to the executive bonuses.
